How does your personal alarm service work?
Your loved one simply presses the button on their product when they need help, any time of the day or night.
No alarm call goes unanswered and the Emergency Resolution Team will know who is calling and from where, even if they are unable to speak.
The Emergency Resolution Team will talk with them through the alarm equipment to understand what help is needed. The team can help with any emergency, including falls, if they are in distress, feel unwell or have a home emergency.
The Emergency Resolution Team will call nominated contacts, such as a neighbour or family, or the emergency services if medical assistance is needed.
Introducing ActiveAlert
ActiveAlert is an early warning system for enhanced peace of mind and is a free and supplementary addition to the Taking Care personal alarm service.
Only Taking Care personal alarms include ActiveAlert. The cutting-edge technology goes beyond traditional personal alarm monitoring and automatically analyses alarm call usage patterns.
If a potential concern is identified, Taking Care will make a proactive wellbeing call to the alarm user's emergency contacts registered with them as next of kin. If they cannot speak with the emergenccy contacts, they will call the alarm user to check they are OK.
ActiveAlert enhances the life-saving personal alarm service by acting as an early warning system that something may be wrong with the personal alarm user's wellbeing.
This helps proactively manage health and independence by making next of kin aware of potential issues earlier.
