PHC’s products are underwritten by Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC and are reinsured by Munich Reinsurance Company. Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Munich Reinsurance Company.  PHC hold a binding authority from our underwriters, which empowers us to accept PMI business on their behalf.

For your further peace of mind, all PHC policyholders have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) who will independently review any policyholder complaints and Great Lakes is also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
