Which hospitals can I use?

Hospitals - your freedom of choice

A critical element of most medical insurance plans is the choice of hospitals available to you. Usually your choice is either a list with complicated hospital scales or a restricted ‘preferred' hospital list. But in keeping with our mission statement, hospital cover with us is comprehensive yet simple to understand.

We do not need to issue lengthy hospital lists (there are over 600 hospitals in the UK) - it's very simple, you can choose to go to any hospital you want!

Apart from the eight central London hospitals listed below, we allow you to have treatment at any hospital in the UK that you, or your specialist, choose. To ensure you the maximum comfort and privacy, rooms will be single person occupancy, with a private bathroom (provided the chosen hospital has these facilities available at the time of admission).

London Upgrade Option:

You may choose to extend your hospital cover (for an additional premium) to include the London hospitals listed below:

• Wellington Hospital
• London Heart Hospital
• London Bridge Hospital
• Harley Street Clinic
• Portland Hospital
• Princess Grace Hospital
• Devonshire Clinic

If you wish to extend your hospital cover please tick the London Upgrade Option on your application form. The London Upgrade option must be selected at the same time of application and cannot be added to your plan when making a claim.
